Sort-of-Yippy Hippy "School Holiday Week".

My week has been fab-tastic.

Initally I planned for a short hiatus from working,
just idle,
do-nothing
slack,
and have time to meet the boyfriend. =)

but turns out time is so short it's not even enough for myself!

SAT (27 OCT):

Henry's birthday chalet at NSRCC (National Service Resort & Country Club.)
Angel invited KT and me. And KT's forever so sweet,
She cab down all the way from Jurong to pick me up, and stay over for the weekend to accomapny me.
Cos my Bf's confined in camp.

Ir was 3 players-mahjong the whole night cos the rest were busy going home and nobody could entertain us.Henry's too tired.


KT's the winner... AGAIN! ( I should say perpetually.)
The scariest event happened when KT and I were done with mahjong.We decided to go back to my place around 3-4am.

Sadly, we called for cabs for nearly hafla n hour but there was no cabs in that area!
No cab, no other transport, no people,
and we were stranded in that ULU place.
Naval Base, Airport, Whole deserted stretch...

Very eerie and us 2 gals had no choice but to walk for nearly 2 hours and 5-6km till we can find a way out.
KT was so relieved to finally see a cab after we were nearing the ECP.
She shouted at the top of her voice and shocked me!

The cabbie said we are rly lucky ..
imagine KT was wearing super shorts.
Yes, I should say we are; to still be here now.


SUN (28 OCT):

Woke up and went Hello Kitty Fair @ Takashimaya with super fan Angel.
Not much variety though.
She got herself a big plush Hello Kitty home.

I still prefer Blythe more.

MON (29 OCT):

After work horror movie "Unrest" w whole bunch of STRIP colleagues.
Spine-chiiling. About dead bodies..... hmm....

TUE (30 OCT):

Facial. Shopping with him and his brother's gf -Gillian.
Dinner with the sweet girlies- Gayna, Mel and Ting @ Lido.
I love them!

WED (31 OCT):
Mahjong Day with Boyfriend and his family.
I'm the big loser!
$60

but they are so nice, they say it's waived off.
His mummy still treated us dinner.

THU ( 1 NOV):
Slacking @ home
plus Shopping @ AMK Hub.
I love AMK neighbourhood- bargain buys everywhere.
Albeit it's a tad far from my house.

Got some new dresses at discounted price.. cheers!

Next time I should try Yio Chu Kang, Bishan etc. =)

FRI ( 2 NOV):
Date with Ting, Suzhen and Angel.

"Reminisce School Days"
Travelled all the way back to Sentosa Tourism Academy.

Set Lunch at RITS- Restaurant in the Square,
which consisted of:

-Cream of Mushroom Brand Soup
-Seabass with Seasonal Vegetables & Herb Butter Sauce
OR Braised duck Confeit
-Poached Pears with Vanilla Ice-Cream.

Afterwards my SWEETEST Ms Xu still had a huge craving for more dessert,
and Ting and I accompanied her to Bakerzin @ Vivo for Tiramisu cakes.
Angel has to report back to Pan Pacific for afternoon-shift.

My Xu Xiao Jie not only has a voracious appetite but also the ultimate sweet-tooth.
Any link to desserts and food will brighten her day.
All of us are... amazed.
The most sickening thing is you can never tell by her small skinny frame!

Bakerzin was not the last stop...
Ms Xu still must go to Corduroy Candy and Candy Empire to stock up more chocolate, candies and select cake for her sister.

I really must say Ms Xu is a sweet person who showers her friends with lots of love and care, and sweeter the stuff she consumes! Is there a link? =)

Brings back dear memories of our Poly Life:
-The daily journey: taking train to Outram Park, transferring to Harbour Front, advance to Seah Im Hawker Centre/ Bus Interchange to board the Sentosa Bus.
-the endless projects,
-my project mates,
-attachment at the Cable Car Station,
-the computer Labs,
-all my HTM friends,
-the peacocks which attacks cars,
-monkeys which snack food from bins and sometimes people,
-Culinary Service Days/Lessons,
-the Library, (Gals we missed that!)
-the toilets which requires a password to enter,
-shopping at Harbour Front (Now VIVOCity) after-school,
-Pastmania Dinners,
-moonflower people thou it's history
-most of all, being a student. =)

Gosh, i need to learn how to save money.
Seems like everyone working has a plan; saving for holiday getaway or studies,
but I always use up all my moolahs.
